Job summary
GBC Advanced Materials is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine repairs, upkeep, and housekeeping for our manufacturing facility. The role supports production through preventive maintenance and quick repairs, ensuring equipment and areas stay clean and safe.
Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. This full-time, day-shift position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Ability to perform general repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Strong attention to safety and housekeeping in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance and housekeeping of buildings and grounds and general maintenance to equipment and machinery as assigned.
- Receives supervision from Supervisor.
- Performs general and routine repairs and preventive maintenance to shop equipment and machinery such as oiling, greasing, and minor adjustments.
- Maintains clean factory, storage areas, offices and keeps debris picked up around the facility.
- Assists with maintenance or helping with production from time to time as directed by supervisor.
