Job summary

CMC is seeking a maintenance technician to support our steel and construction reinforcement operations in Dallas, TX. You will perform repairs and routine maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and use hand and power tools to service equipment.

The role requires strong safety practices and the ability to work in varied weather conditions. You’ll join a team that values hands-on problem solving, quality workmanship, and efficiency.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
Experience with mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
Participate in CMC safety programs and culture.
Conserve maintenance resources by efficient use of tools and supplies.

What You'll Do

Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
Conserves maintenance resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
Possess proficient skills utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools for performing all facets of the repair and maintenance process

What You'll Need

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Experience with a wide variety of tools related to mechanics/hydraulics
Experience with basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, engines, mobile equipment, and vehicles (number of years up to location preference)
Possess proficient skills utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools for performing all facets of the repair and maintenance process

Your Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
