Job summary

Atlas Roofing Corporation in Meridian, MS seeks a general labor/maintenance role to maintain housekeeping and assist production and shipping teams. You will follow all plant safety rules, use PPE as required, and perform cleaning both inside and outside the facility, including restrooms, break areas, and offices.

The ideal candidate will be able to work rotating shifts, holidays, and overtime, with experience reading instructions and operating basic tools like a tape measure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work rotating shift schedule, holidays and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping in the facility.
• Follow all plant and safety rules including PPE requirements.
• Perform cleaning inside and outside the facility (restrooms, locker rooms, break areas, production areas, offices).
• Assist with production and shipping duties as required.
• Operate forklift or bobcat as required.
• General painting throughout facility.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Notify Supervisor about supplies needed.
• All other duties as assigned by supervision.
