Job summary

Atlas Roofing Corporation is seeking a Forklift Driver to operate forklifts for loading and unloading trucks and moving materials throughout the facility. You will work with the Production Manager to create schedules that meet production needs and maintain accurate load sheets and shipping documents.

The role requires general understanding of manufacturing processes, safety, and quality systems. Prior forklift experience and basic math skills are preferred; training in safety and quality

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic math and simple measuring tools.
• Training provided in safety and Quality System Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload trucks and move materials within the facility.
• Coordinate with Production Manager to develop schedules meeting production needs.
• Maintain inventory awareness and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Verify counts, maintain load sheets, and adjust shipping documents accordingly.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage and discrepancies and report to supervisor.
