Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a Regional Energy Manager to lead energy management programs across the Americas. You will drive ISO 50001 initiatives, coordinate with EHS and regional teams, and push energy-, water-, and landfill-reduction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong engineering and physics knowledge.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Preferred ISO management systems experience.
• Experience in facilities or industrial maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate regional energy management and green production initiatives across North and South American locations.
• Support implementation and continual improvement of the ISO 50001 Energy Management System per corporate requirements.
• Drive energy and water efficiency and landfill reduction projects.
• Collect, validate, analyze and maintain energy and sustainability data.
• Collaborate with corporate, EHS and regional teams across the Schaeffler Production System.
• Plan and coordinate complex non-routine repairs or investments, leading cross-functional projects with Engineering, IT or Digitalization.
• Cooperate with Industrial Engineering to optimize facilities and technical infrastructure.

Job description

• Lead and coordinate regional activities related to energy management and green production across North and South American locations.
• Support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 50001 Energy Management System in alignment with corporate requirements.
• Drive initiatives to improve energy efficiency, water efficiency, and landfill reduction.
• Collect, validate, analyze and maintain energy and sustainability-related data.
• Support and collaborate with corporate, EHS, regional colleagues across the Schaeffler Production System organization.
• Plan and coordinate complex non-routine repairs or infrastructure investments, and lead projects in cooperation with Engineering, IT and/or Digitalization, for facilities assigned.
• Cooperate with Industrial Engineering in the continuous optimization of facilities and technical infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Advanced engineering & physics knowledge.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills (written & verbal).
• Continuous improvement approach.
• Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results.
• Preferred: Experience with ISO management systems.
