Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead regional energy management and green production initiatives across North and South America.

You will implement and improve the ISO 50001 system, drive energy and water efficiency programs, and steer projects with cross-functional teams including Engineering, IT and Digitalization. The ideal candidate has a engineering degree, 3+ years in manufacturing, strong leadership and exceptional communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Advanced engineering and physics knowledge.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills (written & verbal).
  • Extremely self-motivated and driven to achieve results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate regional energy management and green production across North and South America.
  • Support ISO 50001 energy management system implementation, maintenance and improvement per corporate requirements.
  • Drive initiatives to improve energy and water efficiency and reduce landfill.
  • Collect, validate, analyze and maintain energy and sustainability data.
  • Collaborate with corporate, EHS and regional colleagues across Schaeffler Production System.
  • Plan and coordinate complex non-routine repairs or infrastructure investments and lead projects with Engineering, IT and Digitalization.
  • Cooperate with Industrial Engineering on continuous facilities optimization.
