Job summary

Walmart in Northport, AL is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and safety checks on facilities and equipment across our operations. You’ll manage work orders, parts, and on-call coverage to support business needs after hours.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in the electrical trade, a valid Journeyman Electrician license, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in the electrical trade.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair issues using blueprints, manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Dismantle equipment and replace defective parts with hand and power tools.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory; record expenses and updates.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA regulations and Walmart safety standards are followed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and coordinate with managers and contractors.
