The electrician will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and on-call support, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and high standards across Walmart facilities. Applicants should have a Journeyman license and a valid driver’s license, with related trade licenses welcomed.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in the electrical trade.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in state of work.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• License in related trade in city and/or state of work

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines.
• Inspects, cleans, and repairs facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Documents signs of wear and tear and gathers capital expense information.
• Recommends repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs.
• Determines replacement needs and documents preventive maintenance activities.
• Performs major and minor repairs using multiple craft skills (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.).
• Diagnoses problems using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
• Utilizes hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment; responds to emergency calls.
• Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors; completes written/electronic documentation.
• Orders parts and replacement equipment; tracks orders and submits warranty claims.
• Complies with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety standards.
• Ensures safety and quality of work; coordinates with managers and coworkers on timelines.
• Maintains vehicles and equipment; coordinates transportation for maintenance tasks.
• Leads teams and mentors others; supports ethics and integrity policies.
