Job summary

MICA Steelworks in Kaufman, TX is seeking a full-time Maintenance Associate to keep the building and grounds clean and safe. The role includes cleaning restrooms, floors, and common areas, performing basic maintenance tasks, and supporting minor plumbing repairs under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting, resolution, and repair of maintenance duties.
• Clean and supply restrooms, service breakrooms, lobby, and offices at both site facilities.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Maintain current inventory of cleaning and maintenance materials.
• Assist in inspecting and cleaning production, engineering, and office equipment.
• Assist with minor plumbing repairs under supervision after training.
• Maintain organized tool room and maintenance supplies.
• Ensure work areas are clean and properly stored.
• Assist with setup for special events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
