Job summary

Jobot Consulting seeks a Technical Parts Sales Specialist to join our global OEM team in Galesburg, IL. You will support customers with critical spare parts solutions and manage technical order activity after equipment is in the field.

This on-site, full-time role offers competitive pay ($25–$40/hr), comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to work with a global manufacturing leader focused on food processing and packaging equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial machinery repair including CNC lathes, mills, and lasers.
• Associates or technical degree required.
• Journeyman Electrician certification.
• 5–7 years of maintenance and electrical experience.
• Experience with low voltage and 480V high voltage equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA and National Electrical Code requirements.
• Valid Illinois driver's license with clean record.
• Experience with overhead cranes and welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of our organization’s physical operations including refrigeration, heating and a/c, kitchen equipment, plumbing, water and waste treatment and electrical systems.
• Keep parking lot and sidewalks free of ice or hazards.
• Read assembly instructions, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Use power, pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools.
• Work on electrical circuits, and motors.
• Know city and state building codes and local, state and federal regulations.
• Interface with OSHA as needed.
• Prepare reports as required.
• Creates purchase requisitions using SAP for all repair items and approve service invoices.
