Adviniacare is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Oakland Grove Health Care Center in Woonsocket. This full-time role maintains grounds, facility, and equipment to support a safe, efficient maintenance program.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a general background in repair and maintenance. On-call duties and coordination of contractors are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and comprehend English.
• Willing to work harmoniously with other staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Recognize hazards to residents or staff safety and take action.
• Organize and prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Replace, repair and purchase items according to policy.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance and document it.
• Maintain exterior and interior areas in all weather conditions.
• Supervise outside contractors.
• Serve on-call for emergencies and off-duty hours.
• Perform errands and tasks as required.
• Maintain upkeep of building grounds in all weather.
