Socket.dev is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support the build-out of a new manufacturing facility. This hands-on role requires practical shop-floor insight and the ability to move fast as processes are developed in real time.

You will coordinate timelines, vendors, equipment setup, and staffing, partner with cross-functional teams, and ensure smooth transitions from build-out to steady production on site in Chandler, AZ.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in operations, production coordination, or related role in manufacturing.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proactive, solutions-first mindset with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present updates to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of new facility build-out, coordinating timelines, vendors, and on-site logistics.
• Act as hands-on on-site presence; track progress and drive issues to resolution.
• Help stand up day-to-day operational workflows, including layout, staffing, equipment setup, and material flow.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure readiness and smooth operation.
• Oversee receipt, setup, and inventory of new equipment and materials.
• Track build-out milestones and operational metrics; flag risks early with proposed solutions.
• Coordinate scheduling of labor, equipment, and materials for timelines.
• Assist in developing and documenting SOPs as processes are established.
• Serve as point of contact for day-to-day operational questions during build-out.
