Job summary

Circular Services seeking a qualified facility Laborer/Operator to join our Southington, CT campus. This full-time role involves operating small to midsize equipment, maintaining site cleanliness, and supporting safety protocols on a busy recycling site.

Working Monday–Friday, 6 AM–4 PM, you will help prepare job sites, assist with routine maintenance, and collaborate with crews to meet project goals. We offer benefits including vacation time, 401k matching, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in facility maintenance.
• 1–3 years of experience operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate small to midsize equipment such as pay loaders, skid steers, and manlifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment like water trucks, pick-up trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment.
• Prepare job sites by cleaning, removing hazards, greasing equipment, and assisting with routine maintenance.
• Use basic hand tools (shovel, pitchfork, grease guns, garbage pickers, and handheld power tools).
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Collaborate with laborers, operators, and supervisors to ensure smooth operation and meet project goals.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, and adhere to company safety guidelines.
• Perform yard/site work, including mowing, trash pickup, trimming, and garbage removal.
