Job summary

Hgen is seeking a Facility and Inventory Specialist to elevate on-site office, lab, and manufacturing operations in Hawthorne, CA. You will own end-to-end facilities duties, safety, and inventory workflows to support R&D and production teams in a fast-paced startup environment.

The role requires hands-on facilities/warehouse experience and proficiency with ERP/MES/QMS/CMMS systems, with on-site work and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in facilities management, warehouse operations, logistics, or similar roles in energy, industrial, aerospace, defense, or similar production environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operations of our combined office, lab, and manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational excellence
• Identify, anticipate, and resolve facility related issues and improvement opportunities, engaging with contractors as necessary
• Plan and coordinate facility build-outs to support evolving R&D, engineering, and production demands as we scale
• Receive incoming deliveries and routing to inventory locations, ensuring documentation and traceability are maintained with our systems
• Retrieve and package inventory into traceable kits for production teams
• Develop the standard operating procedures for facility maintenance and inventory operations
• Manage the generation, delivery, and/or waste of production commodities (compressed gasses, DI water, industrial fluids)
• Other duties as assigned
