Job summary

Plains is seeking a Facility Integrity Engineer II in Houston to develop and continuously improve tools and programs for facility integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will lead activities in integrity management planning and analyses, working across US and Canada with various internal teams and external regulators.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 4+ years in related areas, API certifications preferred, and an ability to work independently while collaborating with

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in interpreting regulations, inspection, and repair design.
  • API 510, 570, 653 certifications are preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to executives.
  • Independent, proactive with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute Plains’ Facility Integrity Management Plan (FIMP) for specific operations.
  • Conduct advanced analyses related to pipeline regulations, integrity assessment, and repair methods.
  • Interpret partner needs, track metrics, and drive continuous improvement across assets.
