Service-Management-Systems is seeking a maintenance/cleaning staff member to keep commercial and institutional facilities clean and orderly. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, fixtures, rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and corridors, plus handling waste and basic upkeep of furnishings.

Requires ability to read simple instructions and communicate in English; no prior experience is required. The role asks for physical stamina, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: No prior experience or training.
• Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees in English.
• Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Units of American money and measurement.
• Reasoning Ability: Basic common sense and ability to follow simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, finishes, and polishes floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstery, and draperies. Dusts furniture and equipment. Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays; transports trash to disposal area.
