Job summary

SPM, LLC is seeking a diligent Janitor Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming facilities across the United States. You will perform daily cleaning, sanitize restrooms, manage supplies, and report maintenance needs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, good attention to detail, and the ability to work physical tasks. Prior janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in janitorial or housekeeping is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including safe handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with facility guidelines and environmental regulations.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages to management.
• Respond promptly to spills, stains, or other cleanliness issues to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and reporting repair needs.
• Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to minimize risks during cleaning operations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure cleaning schedules and quality standards are consistently met.
