The City of San Luis Obispo is seeking an entry-level Facility Host to organize, coordinate, and supervise facility uses and rentals at multiple city facilities, including community centers and parks.
This temporary, part-time role is limited to 20 hours per week and is not eligible for benefits. The position requires availability for holidays, weeknights, weekends, and evenings.
The Facility Host organizes, coordinates, and supervises Parks and Recreation Department facility uses and rentals. Facilities include the Ludwick Community Center, City / County Library, Senior Center, Meadow Park Building, Damon-Garcia Sports Fields and the Jack House & Gardens. This is an entry level, temporary part-time position. The position is limited to 20 hours per workweek and is not eligible to receive benefits.
Average hours per week: 10 to 20
Employees in this classification work under general supervision from the Recreation Manager and direct supervision from the Facilities Specialist.
