Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Miami, OK) is seeking a seasoned food safety professional to lead the factory's HACCP programs and oversee pest management, sanitation, and regulatory recordkeeping. The role requires hands-on development of audits, training, and continuous improvement of safety practices across production, engineering, and maintenance teams.

You will implement food safety plans, ensure safe manufacturing and shipping conditions, and coach staff in GMPs and sanitary design.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' HACCP, Food Safety, Auditing, Laboratory or Pest Management experience within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
• 1+ years of supervisory experience
• Basic proficiency in English to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures
• Certified Pest Management Professional License preferred
• PCQI Certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of Integrated Pest Management preferred
• Strong knowledge of HACCP preferred
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices preferred
• Strong knowledge of sanitary design preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, ensure compliance of, sustain, and continuously improve the factory’s food safety programs
• Ensure products are manufactured, packaged, stored, and shipped under safe and wholesome conditions
• Support factory HACCP systems, food safety plans, and food defense plans
• Manage pest management and sanitation programs for the facility
• Maintain regulatory records for master sanitation, pest control, and chemical use
• Communicate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure quality and food safety compliance
• Develop and maintain internal and external audit plans, procedures, and documents
• Train and coach employees in food safety, good manufacturing practices, pest management, and sanitation
