Job summary

MAC.BID is hiring a Facility Floater to support warehouse operations in Spartanburg/Cowpens, SC. This full-time, hourly, non-exempt role assists across departments to keep processes running smoothly and reports to the Facility Team Lead.

Responsibilities include pallet sorting, cleaning, trash, cardboard handling, and dock unloading with live trailers. Shifts vary by location; ability to lift 25 lb solo and 50 lb with help is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on-site with varying shifts.
• Able to lift up to 25 lb alone and 50 lb with a team.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clear, gather, inventory, and sort pallets.
• Clean warehouse and office areas with mop, broom, and vacuum.
• Empty garbage and manage dumpster according to vendor criteria.
• Collect and bale cardboard.
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

FACILITY FLOATER

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION:

Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Floater assists with every job within the department to ensure smooth operations. This position reports to the Facility Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
• Collect and bale cardboard
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location; 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
