Job summary

Revolution Space in Boston is seeking a Facility Engineering Director to lead a growth phase, outfitting a new R&D facility, and coordinating equipment selection with construction teams during the move.

After transition, you will manage all facility operations, maintain documentation, and lead capital projects while partnering with the building owner and local officials to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in facility operations management in engineering settings.
• Working knowledge of industry standards (TIA/EIA, IEEE, NEC).
• Experience managing maintenance and capital projects within facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee structural, mechanical, electrical, acoustical and environmental integrity of offices and ensure safety compliance.
• Manage capital equipment installations, design reviews, budgeting, and contractor coordination.
• Lead maintenance programs, document management, and coordination with owner and regulatory bodies.
