Job Overview
The Night Shift Custodian Supervisor oversees custodial operations during overnight hours in a high-precision, regulated medical device manufacturing facility. This role ensures all production and support areas meet high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, GMP). Responsibilities include leading a team of custodians, coordinating cleaning schedules, managing supply inventory, and supporting the environmental integrity of the facility.

Main Responsibilities

1. Perform environmental cleanliness inspections.
2. Detail clean manufacturing areas: production floors, warehouse, offices, and grounds.
3. Coordinate cleaning projects and tasks.
4. Assign duties and responsibilities to employees.
5. Maintain excellent floor care and sanitation on GMP/production floors.
6. Verify cleaning and quality documentation in the EAM system.
7. Enhance facility aesthetics through detailed cleaning, goal setting, and projects.
8. Collaborate with contractors on facility projects.
9. Delegate cleaning tasks and projects to custodial staff.
10. Track employee performance and set goals.
11. Develop partnerships with company stakeholders for success.
12. Possess a strong background in custodial leadership within medical facilities or manufacturing plants.
13. Focus on employee safety, partnering with EHS leaders.
14. Pay attention to detail, aesthetics, branding, and design.
15. Contribute to overall company success and meet deadlines.
16. Ability to operate or obtain certification to operate a forklift.
17. Supervisory responsibilities include managing a team of 2 or more custodians.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a custodian or facility supervisor in a medical or manufacturing environment.
2. Basic computer skills and ability to use a tablet.
3. Strong knowledge of custodial techniques, cleaning agents, and sanitation standards.
4. Ability to interpret SOPs, SDS, and regulatory guidelines.
