Job summary

Indiana Beverage in Valparaiso, IN is seeking a Custodial Specialist for the second shift to clean and maintain offices, conference rooms, restrooms, break rooms, and other facility areas.

You will vacuum, mop, dust, sanitize, perform floor care, and assist with meeting setup. Must be 18+, HS diploma preferred; prior custodial experience is a plus.

This full-time role offers medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits after 60 days, PTO after 6 months, and a 401(k) with profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work the listed schedule.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, conference rooms, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, lobbies, and other facility areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and perform routine cleaning tasks.
• Empty trash and recycling, restock supplies, and maintain orderly work areas.
• Perform floor care, including scrubbing, buffing, and carpet spot treatment.
• Monitor custodial supplies and equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with meeting and event setup/teardown as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals.
• Work independently to identify and address cleaning and facility needs.
