Job summary

South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department is seeking a custodian to keep assigned areas clean, sanitized, and presentable. You will work under the Director of Administration, performing cleaning tasks, ground maintenance, and supply management while following safety policies.

Responsibilities include completing checklists, reporting issues, and providing professional service to staff and stakeholders. Training in Hazardous Waste, Bloodborne pathogens, and OSHA is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical tasks and routine cleaning duties.
• Must follow safety practices and agency policies.
• Ability to interact professionally with staff and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize designated areas, bathrooms, and offices.
• Maintain grounds presentable and report irrigation leaks.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and restock as needed.
• Adhere to all agency safety guidelines and use PPE appropriately.
• Complete checklists and document tasks at day end.
• Provide exceptional customer service to staff and stakeholders.
