Job summary

WORK Inc. is seeking a Custodian to maintain assigned areas in a safe, sanitary, and orderly manner across AbilityOne project sites. Responsibilities include trash removal, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, floor stripping/finishing, and snow removal as required by the contract.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of janitorial experience, plus the ability to follow a detailed schedule and pass a CORI check. Some positions may require a driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two years janitorial experience and willingness to learn to work with individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to follow detailed work schedule.
• CORI check may be required by agency policy.
• Driver's license as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Remove and dispose of trash and replace liners in designated areas.
• Vacuum public and office areas and mop floors.
• Clean restrooms, replenish supplies, and polish metal surfaces.
• Strip/finish floors and move furniture as needed.
• Shovel snow/clear ice and apply sand or salt on walkways.
