Job summary

Kidstlc is seeking a Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and order of offices and industrial buildings. Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, waxing floors, cleaning restrooms, and replenishing supplies to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

The role requires reliable performance with attention to detail, ability to operate floor machines and cleaning equipment, and composure to report leaks or equipment issues promptly. Two years preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of custodial duties and property maintenance.
• Two years' experience preferred.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Operate scrubbers, buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers.
• Report leaks and equipment issues to Campus Management.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, wax and buff floors.
• Empty trash and replace liners; dispose of refuse.
• Vacuum and steam clean carpets.
• Clean restrooms and fixtures.
• Clean windows and wipe sills.
• Refill paper towels and soap dispensers.
• Ensure toilet paper and extra rolls are stocked.
• Dust furnishings and change light bulbs.
• Clean vents and change furnace filters.
• Pick up trash around grounds of residential programs.
• Keep entries clean; manage cleaning supply inventory.
• Provide weekly documentation and timesheets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
