Job summary

Alsco is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness of equipment, facilities and grounds in a full-time, on-site role in Milwaukee. The position involves cleaning offices, bathrooms, break rooms, and exterior areas, with adherence to safety protocols and PPE usage.

Responsibilities include performing routine cleaning, restocking supplies, and assisting with events. The role requires ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Able and certified to safely operate a powered industrial truck in some locations.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and procedures or willingness to learn.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively with a team.
• Work independently, comprehend and follow written or verbal direction.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, sanitize, vacuum, sweep and mop.
• Dispose of trash, clean up spills, replace air fresheners, maintain water coolers, prepare facilities for events.
• Clean offices, bathrooms, break rooms and other areas.
• Remove trash and debris from building exterior.
• Participate in Safety programs and use PPE as needed, notify supervision of repair needs or hazards.
• Keep records of maintenance and monitor cleaning supplies.
• Meet efficiency and safety standards for the position.
• Follow supervision instructions and keep area neat.
