Job summary

Daiso USA’s DeSoto Warehouse in Desoto, TX is seeking a Facilities Maintenance & Custodial Supervisor to oversee upkeep, safety, and cleanliness. You will lead a custodial team, coordinate basic repairs, and ensure work meets company standards.

This hands-on role requires 3+ years in facility maintenance or supervision, carpentry/painting basics, and the ability to manage schedules, inspect facilities, and uphold OSHA compliance while supporting events and operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, custodial supervision, or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of basic maintenance practices (carpentry, painting, minor repairs).
• Proven ability to supervise, train, and motivate staff.
• Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, safety instructions, and work orders.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cleaning supply levels and reorder as necessary.
• Conduct periodic performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.

Position Summary

The Facility & Custodial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, cleanliness, and overall functionality of company facilities. This position performs and coordinates a variety of light maintenance, repair, and facility improvement projects while supervising the custodial team to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. The supervisor serves as a hands-on leader who ensures that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance & Repairs
