Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily health care services, including sick calls, scheduling, and access to care.
• Supervise and support nursing staff, conduct evaluations, and oversee training.
• Respond to emergencies and grievances, ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Manage supplies, perform quality assurance audits, and assist in recruitment and onboarding.
• Collaborate with custody staff and leadership to ensure safe, efficient facility operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Three (3) years of nursing experience.
• One year of supervisory or administrative experience in nursing.
• Previous correctional/detention facility experience preferred.
• Current and maintained nursing license in state of practice.
• Current lifesaving BLS certification through AHA; CCHP certification preferred.
