Job summary

Complete Care Centers in New York seeks a Facility Maintenance & Construction Technician to maintain safe, functional clinics and support patient care. You will inspect, repair, and upgrade spaces, assist with renovations, and coordinate with contractors to keep environments compliant and welcoming.

Responsibilities include carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical tasks, and inventory management, while ensuring OSHA/ADA compliance and high craftsmanship across multiple locations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in facility maintenance or construction is preferred.
  • Ability to inspect, repair, and improve clinic environments with quality workmanship.
  • Familiarity with OSHA/ADA considerations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance across Complete Care facilities.
  • Complete repairs involving carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, doors, windows, ceilings, and general building maintenance.
  • Assist with construction, remodeling, renovation, and facility improvement projects.
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems or coordinate with licensed contractors when necessary.
  • Install furniture, fixtures, equipment, and other building components.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility emergencies to minimize disruptions to patient care and business operations.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and materials.
  • Support vendors and contractors during facility improvement projects.
  • Ensure facilities remain compliant with OSHA standards, ADA requirements, local building codes, and company safety policies.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and work order documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve facility operations, safety, efficiency, and the overall patient experience.

What You'll Do
