Job summary

Stantec GS, Inc. seeks interdisciplinary Facility Assessors/Inspectors to support a DoD-wide Facility Condition Assessment program nationwide.

Assessors will evaluate mechanical, electrical, shell, structural and interior elements using ASTM UNIFORMAT II, documenting conditions with tablets. The role requires travel 50% or more, strong technical writing, and the ability to inspect large facilities and climb ladders.

Qualifications

• On-the-job experience or formal trade school education in building systems.
• Ability to travel 50% or more.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record; drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory of client facilities and classify building components per ASTM UNIFORMAT II.
• Assess physical condition and conformance with specifications and building codes using professional judgment.
• Document assessments with tablets and support justification for condition determinations.
• Work under supervision and in accordance with standard practices.
• Ability to inspect large complexes, climb ladders, and walk long distances daily.
