Job summary

RTX Richardson, TX is seeking a dedicated janitor to perform routine cleaning duties in our facility. This onsite role supports the daily operations by maintaining floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas and by operating cleaning equipment as needed.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, at least 3 months of custodial experience, and a valid driver's license, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work the 3rd shift (Mon-Thu 4:00 AM–1:30 PM, Fri 4:00–8:00

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
At least 3 months of commercial custodial experience.
Must have a valid driver's license to drive around site.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning duties such as cleaning, buffing, steam cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors; waste removal; restroom cleaning; window and wall cleaning.
Clean and service facilities including stairs and restrooms.
Operate forklifts, janitorial cleaning equipment, and ladders.
Move and separate metal pieces, parts, chips, and turnings of metals; keep work area clean and orderly.
Clean rooms to government or required specifications.
