Job summary

RTX West Palm Beach is seeking a Cleaning Coordinator to perform basic cleaning duties in high-traffic areas and support building upkeep. Responsibilities include stocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting furniture, and ensuring supplies are properly stored.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of related experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and basic computer skills with Microsoft Office. Shift: 1st & 2nd. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
• Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving and rearranging furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored securely; complete a detailed cleaning checklist.
• Follow the standardized cleaning process per company standards; adhere to chemical cleaners procedures.
• Attend staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
