MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a dedicated Janitor to support our MSD Lemay Plant Contract team. The role requires performing cleaning tasks, maintaining a safe environment, and interacting professionally with customers and vendors.

No degree is required, but high school diploma preferred, and the position is hourly full-time with benefits. You will operate standard janitorial equipment, sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and handle waste, while complying with safety procedures and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred; no degree required.
• Read simple signs and instructions; capable of lifting weights repeatedly.
• Stand for extended periods and tolerate extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of various types at assigned site.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and commuters.
• Lift and operate janitorial equipment and supplies.
• Sweep and mop floors with motorized equipment.
• Dust with rags and long-handled brushes.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaner.
• Wax and polish floors.
• Handle waste and respond to spot clean-ups.
• Other duties as assigned.
