Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic janitor to join the MSD Lemay Plant Contract team. The role involves cleaning at various sites, maintaining safety, and interacting professionally with customers and vendors.

A HS diploma or equivalent is preferred, and there is a focus on flexibility and reliability. Full-time positions offer medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, retirement plans, PTO accrual, paid holidays, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read simple signs and instructions; lift varying weights repeatedly.
• Stand for extended periods and tolerate extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of various types at assigned site.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and commuters.
• Lift and operate standard janitorial equipment and supplies.
• Sweep and mop floors with motorized equipment.
• Dust with rag and extended handle tools.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaner.
• Wax and polish floors.
• Clean up waste using proper techniques and safety procedures.
• Respond to spot clean-ups as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
