Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or multiple client sites.

The role requires flexibility to adapt to client specifications, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time shifts across different schedules. The pay rate is $13.26 per hour, and on-the-job training is provided to support your success in a welcoming team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and use of a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned by the scope of work or customer needs.
