Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client buildings. The role requires flexibility to adapt to different client specifications and shifts.

The position offers full-time and part-time openings with a pay rate of $18.25 per hour. Eligible applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial experience; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces—sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage disposal.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot-clean carpets and assist in carpet extraction/shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment.
• Perform other duties as required by the scope of work or customer needs.
