Job summary

Bradford County Branch YMCA is seeking a part-time cleaner for up to 5 hours per week. Responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and occasional window washing, snow removal, or groundswork.

You will operate cleaning equipment and report repairs as needed. Essential competencies emphasize teamwork, safety, and delivering a high-quality, welcoming environment for members.

Qualifications

• Six months or more related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret procedures, manuals and notices.
• Ability to report and record maintenance requests.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Understanding of upkeep and care of equipment.
• Understanding of cleaning compounds and safe usage.

Responsibilities

• Keeps YMCA clean and inviting by following daily schedule and maintaining assigned areas.
• Operates related cleaning equipment as needed.
• Records needed repairs and reports to supervisor.
• Ensures building is secure during shift and reports hazards.
• Replaces soap, towels and other supplies.
• May assist with setting up furniture for events.
