Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a maintenance/ janitorial team member responsible for keeping the club clean, safe and well-organized. You will move carts, perform cleaning tasks and support general upkeep across all areas of the club.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability and adherence to safety standards, with regular hours and opportunities to contribute to a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• May be under 18 for cart functions; over 18 to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all club areas including sales floor, offices, restrooms and exterior areas.
• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Restocks maintenance and cleaning supplies and keeps receiving/maintenance areas organized.
• Operates floor scrubber, trash compactor and related cleaning equipment safely.
• Performs minor repairs and notifies management for major repairs.
