NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION FOR INTER CULTURAL AFFAIRS INC is seeking a Housekeeping and Maintenance Worker – Tier 1 in the New York City area. The role combines housekeeping, basic maintenance, and facility support to help keep residents safe and comfortable.

Responsibilities include cleaning, light repairs, snow removal, and ensuring secure facilities while adhering to OSHA and safety guidelines. The position requires a high school diploma, two years of housekeeping experience, and CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and two years of housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain exterior perimeter, lobby, hallways, walls, and elevators.
• Ensure cleanliness of resident bathrooms, recreation rooms, and communal spaces.
• Perform repairs and painting per work orders; manage snow removal and ice salting.
• Collect garbage facility-wide and prepare garbage room for waste removal.
• Lock and secure rooms; report incidents and repairs promptly.
