Qualifications

Responsibilities

This full-time position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities

• - Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• - Set up and take down furniture and equipment for school events, meetings, and activities as required.
• - Ensure that all safety and health regulations are followed, including proper handling of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• - Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and request replenishments as necessary.
• - Collaborate with school staff to ensure that the facility meets the needs of students and the educational program.
• - Respond promptly to emergency situations, including spills, accidents, and emergencies.
• - Support the overall mission of Alcona Elementary by fostering a positive, safe, and clean environment conducive to learning.

Requirements

• - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• - Previous experience in custodial work, or a related field is an advantage.
