City of South Fulton is seeking an Facility Project Manager to lead capital improvement projects, coordinate design and construction, and manage budgets and grant reimbursements. The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance and timely delivery of projects.

The candidate will supervise contractors and consultants, prepare bid documents, and provide technical support across city departments while communicating progress to stakeholders and end users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Six years of experience with commercial building construction projects.
• Four years of direct construction project management.
• Licensed Architect in GA, or PE or PMP license preferred.
• Valid state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates facility services, bid documents, and RFPs; negotiates contracts and manages consultants.
• Oversees design, permitting, and contractor work to ensure efficient use of funds and time.
• Monitors budgets, tracks changes, and assists with financial reports and grant reimbursements.
• Maintains data systems to track project progress and regulatory compliance.
• Serves as liaison among end users, Public Works, and contractors; communicates project status.
• Prepares reports, presentations, and materials to educate stakeholders about project goals.
