Job summary

Twin City Health Care in Gas City, Indiana, is seeking a Facility Bus Driver to coordinate and manage movement of residents and materials within our transportation system. You will ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective transport and maintain vehicle readiness.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, an excellent driving record, and familiarity with laws governing passenger safety. CNA experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Must possess a valid driver license.
• Must have an excellent driving record.
• Experience preferred with driving large vehicles, such as vans or small buses.
• Knowledge of laws regarding passenger safety.
• CNA highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain preventive vehicle maintenance.
• Complete all appropriate paperwork on a timely basis.
• Keep open communications with Social Service regarding scheduled appointments and changes.
• Maintain resident safety according to policy during transport.
• Communicate medical information obtained during appointments to nursing leadership.
• Complete other necessary duties as time allows.

Skills

Valid driver's license
