Job summary

Especially Kidz in Shelbyville, Indiana seeks a Facility Transportation Driver to coordinate and manage movement of residents and materials. You will maintain vehicles, handle paperwork, and ensure safe, timely transport in accordance with policy.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid license, and a clean driving record. CNA preferred; experience driving large vehicles is a plus, with comprehensive benefits offered by Especially Kidz.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Must possess a valid driver license.
• Must have an excellent driving record.
• Experience driving large vehicles (vanes or small buses) preferred.
• Knowledge of passenger safety laws.

Responsibilities

• Maintain preventive vehicle maintenance.
• Complete all appropriate paperwork on a timely basis.
• Keep open communications with Social Service regarding scheduled appointments and changes.
• Maintain resident safety according to company policy during transport.
• Communicate medical information obtained during appointments to nursing leadership.
• Complete other duties as time allows.
