Job summary

Nexus Employment is seeking a Maintenance Associate for the Portage, Indiana area. You will ensure properties are fully functional, repair HVAC and plumbing issues, and handle lighting and drywall tasks across nearby buildings.

The role requires basic electrical/plumbing/HVAC skills, proficiency with hand tools, and the ability to travel between local sites. This is a full-time position with hourly pay in the $22–$23 range. AI-assisted screening may be used as part of our hiring process.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general facilities maintenance.
• Able to fix air conditioning units, lighting fixtures and small plumbing issues.
• Must be able to paint and hang drywall and operate hand tools and light machinery.
