Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Facilities Support Technician to support facility management operations at Wright Patterson AFB. The role focuses on maintaining and updating the Building Information Management System (BIMS) and developing facility drawings and documentation using AutoCAD.

You will verify data accuracy, assist with space planning, coordinate with engineers and project managers, and generate reports from BIMS to support operations and planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 8 years experience in Facility Systems.
• Expert BIM and AutoCAD data handling.
• Ability to document facility infrastructure with camera equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and verify facility data within BIMS.
• Create, modify, and manage AutoCAD drawings (floor plans, space layouts, equipment locations).
• Support space utilization planning with updated drawings and reports.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to gather requirements.
• Track changes to layouts, renovations, and equipment installations.
• Generate reports from BIMS to support operations and planning.
• Ensure alignment between drawings and system records.
