Target is hiring for a Facility Attendant 1 at our Distribution Center. You will perform maintenance tasks, support technicians, and help keep the facility safe and efficient. The role requires physical stamina, ability to operate power tools, and a proactive approach to maintenance duties.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to operate all power equipment.
• Good communication and math skills.
• Able to read and comprehend labels and tickets.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of minor maintenance tasks in the Distribution Center.
• Support Maintenance Technicians with preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Assist in installation/removal of equipment throughout the facility.
• Inspect interior/exterior of facility to determine upkeep or repair needs.
• Change battery systems and maintain battery records.
• Operate hand and power tools, such as drills, saws, grinders, and welders.
• Build or repair assets inside the facility with carpentry and fabrication as required.
• Perform plumbing tasks including installation or repair of fixtures.
