Job summary

Frederick County Local Government is seeking a Part-Time Facility Attendant to help create a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained environment at an FCPRD Community Center. This role supports daily facility operations, programs, rentals, and special events while delivering friendly service to community members and guests.

As a Facility Attendant, you will open/close the facility, supervise space usage, coordinate with officials, staff, and instructors, and help ensure smooth operation of programs

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification is required upon hire.
• General knowledge of various sports.
• Skilled in customer service, organization, and decision-making.

Physical Demands:

Requires occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds to move objects. Duties include squatting, reaching, sitting, gripping, pulling, lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive motions.

Environmental Conditions:

Work is performed primarily indoors in a community center or recreational facility environment and is generally subject to moderate noise and activity associated with programs, rentals, and events. Outdoor work is infrequent but may occasionally be required with advance notice.
