Job summary

Big Horn Lodge in Moab is seeking a reliable Part-Time Facility Attendant to keep public spaces clean and welcoming for guests.

You will sweep, mop, vacuum, restock supplies, and assist with light housekeeping, reporting maintenance issues as needed. This is a part-time role with weekend and holiday availability, offering employee hotel discounts and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, janitorial, hotel or facility work is helpful but training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean spaces.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or with a team.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas (lobby, hallways, stairways, guest spaces).
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform general cleaning throughout the property.
• Clean and restock public restrooms and restock cleaning supplies.
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness around property and outdoor areas.
• Assist with light housekeeping and other property needs as directed.

As a Facility Attendant, you'll play an important behind-the-scenes role in making sure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained stay.

What You'll Do

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including the lobby, hallways, stairways, and other guest spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform general cleaning throughout the property
• Clean and restock public restrooms
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness around the property and outdoor areas
• Help keep entrances, walkways, and common areas clean and presentable
• Assist with light housekeeping and other property needs as directed
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or areas needing attention
• Restock cleaning and guest supplies as needed
• Work with the housekeeping and hotel teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest service
• Complete other duties as needed to support daily hotel operations

What We're Looking For

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, or facility experience is helpful but not required-we will train the right person
• Reliable and dependable work ethic

• Ability to safely perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and maintaining a hotel property

Schedule
