We are seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and safety-conscious individual to support our onsite operations as a facility attendant. The role involves ensuring our Vehicle Fleet complies with Federal and State OSHA and CDC standards, maintaining the fleet's appearance, and representing our company to the community. Attention to detail and care for the fleet are vital.

Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following:

• Sweeps and mops floors and stairways.
• Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials using hand or powered equipment.
• Makes rounds of buildings and grounds; inspects doors, windows, and locks for security.
• Reports repairs, safety hazards, or conditions needing outside vendor services.
• Dusts blinds, furniture, file cabinets, and windowsills.
• Assists with installation and upkeep of bus stop shelters.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Cleans grounds and parking lots of litter and debris.
• Loads/unloads supplies, moves heavy furniture and equipment.
• Replaces light bulbs and fuses.
• Performs ground maintenance such as mowing, trimming, spreading salt, pressure washing.
• Polishes furniture, metal work, and chrome.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Knowledge of janitorial methods, tools, and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety rules and hazards.
• Knowledge of chemicals, fertilizers, and pesticides.
• Ability to follow instructions and operate janitorial equipment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and operate cleaning equipment.
• High school diploma or GED and valid North Carolina driver’s license.
